Food truck to open in Oswego

OSWEGO - In an effort to bring food-centric food trucks to downtown Oswego, local businesswoman, Kandra Witkowski and her husband, Randy, have established Eat Street Oswego, which will feature an assortment of food trucks to please many palates.

The Witkowskis have already purchased the empty lot at 55 Main St. in Oswego and hope to be operational in August.

The popularity of food trucks has grown in the Chicagoland area over the last few years; a 2-day food truck festival just took place in Chicago at the end of June.

Witkowski wants to bring several cuisines to Eat Street Oswego at any given time. The variety of food will rotate from day-to-day or week-to-week.
