Images: An Hour in Oak Brook

Enjoy this glimpse of Oak Brook.

We spent one hour — no more, no less — roaming around Oak Brook photographing things that caught our eye. The obvious and the obscure, big stuff and small. But all identifiable to Oak Brook.

Believe it or not, this famed shopping, dining and industry mecca has a lot to offer the outdoors enthusiast, too. Golf courses, bike trails, forest preserves, historical sites, extensive park district sports and recreation facilities and much more. There are sites to enjoy outdoor concerts, plays and even weddings. It seems all the village management buildings, including the library, are surrounded by playing fields. A nice way to bring the community together.
