Learn about Liberty Liberal Arts Academy at July 7 meeting

Topical programs are fixtures of the weekly meetings of the Kiwanis Club of Elgin. Scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, are Ann McNeill and Leanne Oleson of the Liberty Liberal Arts Academy.

Liberty Liberal Arts Academy is a private Christian cooperative in the Fox Valley area that offers affordable, creative, and challenging classes for home-school families. Educating Outside the Box and Inside the Church is their mission.

The Kiwanis Club of Elgin, now in its 95th year, received its charter March 9, 1920, and serves the Kiwanis International mission, to change the world one child at a time, one community at a time.

In that time, the Elgin noon club donated over one million dollars to organizations in Elgin and South Elgin.

Anyone interested is invited to attend a weekly lunch meeting, held at noon Tuesdays at The Grumpy Goat Tavern, 875 Sports Way, Elgin, at the Highlands Golf Course.
