Grayslake library to host blood drive

LifeSource will be at the Grayslake Area Public Library, 100 Library Lane, Grayslake, on Friday, July 3, to collect blood from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Culver's Frozen Custard. Donors must be: in good general health and feeling well that day, at least 17 years old (16 years old with signed parental consent form) and weigh at least 110 pounds. It is recommended donors prepare by eating well and staying hydrated. All donors must bring a valid ID such as: LifeSource or military ID, driver's license, or employee badge with picture and full name. A birth certificate and picture ID that includes the donor full name will be accepted. Appointments can be made by calling the library's adult reference desk at (847) 223-5313 or going to lifesource.org and using group code 173G. Walk-ins are also welcome.
