Lego devotees marvel at creations at Brickworld expo in Schaumburg

Lego artists from around the world displayed their creations for 10,000 visitors at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center this weekend at the annual Brickworld Chicago Expo.

The convention featured a public exposition where more 400 Lego artists showcased their work. The event also featured seminars on Lego building and Lego creation judging.

"We're looked at as one of the best of the best when it comes to displays," said Brickworld Executive Director Brian Bonahoom.

Brickworld Chicago is one of four annul events put on by Brickworld. The Chicago convention is their flagship event, with others held in Indianapolis, Tampa and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
