Rosary High to host summer sports and academic camps

Rosary High School will offer academic and sports camps for grade school and high school students in June and July at the Aurora school.

Academic camps for girls in sixth through eighth grades are offered in creative writing, math and music/drama. Sports camps are offered for girls in volleyball and basketball, and for girls and boys in tennis and conditioning.

"Math in Disguise" will be offered June 8-11, with "Curtain Up: Theatre and Choral Arts Camp" June 15-18, and "Writing Camp: Creative Writing and the iPad" June 22-26.

These camps are from 9 to 11 a.m., and the cost for each is $80. To register for these camps, visit www.rosaryhs.com/camps.

The athletic camps are designed to help students develop skills and reach their full potential.

Basketball camps for girls in fifth through 12th grades are available in June. Volleyball camps for girls in fifth through 12th grades are offered in July. Co-ed tennis camp for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grades will be in June at Marmion Academy.

The co-ed speed and strength conditioning camps for students in fifth through 12th grades are offered in July.

Costs range from $75 for grade school camps, $125 for high school camps, and $220 for the co-ed high school conditioning camp. To register for sports camps, go to www.rosaryhs.com/sports_camps.

Enrollment is limited, and acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
