Army specialist from Oak Brook charged with sexual assault

An Army specialist from Oak Brook was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting a girl younger than 13, prosecutors said.

Andrew Hui, 36, faces charges of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse that authorities say occurred between April 2011 and June 2013 while he was staying at the victim's family home in Oak Brook.

DuPage County prosecutors say the abuse occurred on multiple occasions in that time, and it wasn't until the victim told her father that police were notified.

Hui was taken into custody without incident by state's attorney office investigators Tuesday afternoon. Bond was set at $750,000, of which Hui would need to post 10 percent to be released.

He is due in court June 22.
