District 128 trustee resigns
Bill Ratzler has resigned from the Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 board, creating a vacancy that must now be filled, officials said. Ratzler resigned May 12, because he moved out of the district. Anyone interested in the post, which expires in 2017, can get information about the application process at d128.org/board-candidacy-application or by calling (847) 247-4510. Applications are due by 4 p.m. May 29. Officials hope to name an appointee by the June 22 meeting.
