Waubonsie Valley 9, West Aurora 1:

The Warriors (25-5, 20-3) clinched the Upstate Eight Valley Conference championship for the second straight season. Nick Santoro, who drove in 3 runs, Joey Spano and Ryan Strick had 2 hits. Jason Neville allowed only 3 hits in a complete game.

Wheaton Academy 9, Ridgewood 1:

The Warriors (26-6, 18-1) scored 5 runs in the fourth inning and 4 runs in the sixth to win for the 11th straight time. Luis Ramos and Luke Kram drove in 2 runs while Brett Albaugh, Noah Ritchie and Ramos had 2 hits apiece. Kram pitched a 3-hitter with 8 strikeouts and a walk.

Glenbard South 11, Fenton 1:

A 7-run third inning powered the Raiders (20-9, 12-6) to the Metro Suburban West Conference victory. Winning pitcher Robbie McGimpsey went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles. Kyle Carli, Alex McGimpsey, Tim Marks and Brian Ashe drove in 2 runs.

Metea Valley 8, Bartlett 3:

The Mustangs (19-11, 13-10) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away in their Upstate Eight Valley Conference victory. Winning pitcher Jack Szott struck out nine in 6 innings. Blake Nicolls and Mike Sfikas drove in 2 runs. Jacob Petersen went 2-for-3.
