New Wauconda trustee takes office

Wauconda attorney and activist Tim Howe has been sworn in as the village's newest village board trustee.

Howe defeated incumbent Joseph Coster for a 2-year term in the April municipal election.

He recited the oath of office Tuesday night with help from retired Judge Henry Tonigan III. Incumbents Linda Starkey, Chuck Black and Ken Arnswald won re-election in April and also recited their oaths Tuesday.
