Glenbard East to present 'Macbeth'

"Macbeth" will take center stage from May 6-9 at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St., Lombard.

The explosive Shakespeare play is about the allure of power and the conniving of politics. It examines how people will go to frightening lengths to satisfy their need to be in control.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased by calling (630) 627-9250, ext. 1165, or sending an email to East_Theatre@glenbard.org.

The cast features Andrea Anton, Nathan Dittemore, Abby Griffeth, Maggie Joyce, Ethan Kamperman, Nick Karris, Rachel Kipp, Katie Larson, Rachel Larson, Renata Leighton, Oreste Lettieri, Josh Locklear, Emma Merrick, Maddie Novak, Amanda O'Brien, Maya Ogolini, Shyanne Olson, Audrey Peickert, Cassie Piper, Sean Preins, Joe Ruppenthal, Alex Stratton, Shelly Summers, Chris Turner, Olivia Vos, and Helen Zguri. Crew Heads include: Sarah Bast, Noelle Beausoleil, Frank Cesario, Donny Dukes, David Martin, Taylor Roylance, Alyssa Tumlos, Nicole Turen, Brad Weiss and Zach Wolff.
