New Seth Paine assistant principal:
Jennifer Kallaus has been hired as assistant principal at Seth Paine Elementary School in Lake Zurich for the 2015-16 academic season. Lake Zurich Unit District 95 board members approved Kallaus' hiring at a special meeting last week. Kallaus has been a kindergarten teacher at West Elementary School in Crystal Lake since 2002. District 95 officials said Kallaus will replace Marie Rothermel as Seth Paine's assistant principal. Rothermel will move up to principal to fill the seat of Cameron Shapiro, who resigned. Kallaus and Rothermel will start their new jobs July 1.
