Stevenson d. Mundelein: Grant Maleski had 17 kills and teammate Jesse Kesner had 14 kills as Stevenson out-lasted Mundelein 25-21, 23-25, 25-16. The Patriots improved to 14-10 on the season. Eric Zalewski and Jeffrey Wang each had 16 assists while Jeremy Sandrof and Maleski tied for most digs with five apiece.


For Mundelein, Jake Langlie had 7 kills and 8 digs while Abram Nazario had a team-high 12 digs. Setter Anthony Fiore had 10 assists.

Vernon Hills d. North Chicago: Vernon Hills moved to 4-1 in the North Suburban Prairie Division with a 25-16, 25-12 sweep of North Chicago. The Cougars are 13-6 overall on the season. Lemuel Turner topped Vernon Hills with 7 digs while Jared Bennett and Ian Thoren each finished with 5 kills. Bennett also added 8 assists while Adrian Berlinski had 7 assists. Alon Polischuk had 5 digs for Vernon Hills.

Libertyville d. Lake Zurich: Libertyville out-lasted Lake Zurich, 25-17, 15-25, 25-21. Chris Akers led the way with 11 kills and 5 digs while Konner McCormack added 8 kills and 3 blocks. Setter Kyle Winiger finished with 19 assists while Sam Kharash paced the Wildcats in digs with 19.
