Mulch caught fire outside Crosstown Pub in Batavia Wednesday evening, sending smoke into the building and setting off the automatic fire alarms, officials said. Hospital stabbing suspect pleads not guilty to murder
The McHenry man who authorities say stabbed his estranged wife to death last month in an Elk Grove Village hospital pleaded not guilty yesterday in Rolling Meadows. Javier Bahena-Arellano, 43, is being held without bail at Cook County jail. Full story.
