Vernon Hills pageant applications are now available

Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Village of Vernon Hills pageant to select the next Miss, Jr. Miss and Little Miss Vernon Hills.

The 2015 queens will represent Vernon Hills at various yearly events and through community service.

The pageant will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Sullivan Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

Applications and information can be obtained by visiting the village of Vernon Hills website at www.vernonhills.org and clicking on "events." The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, May 8.

Little Miss Vernon Hills contestants must be between the age of 6-9 by pageant date and cannot turn 10 by Jan. 1, 2016.

Jr. Miss Vernon Hills contestants must be between the ages of 10-15 and cannot turn 16 by Jan. 1, 2016.

Miss Vernon Hills contestants must be between the ages of 16-22 and cannot turn 23 by Jan. 1, 2016.
