Burlington Central 8, Richmond-Burton 2: Winning pitcher Emily Kisch went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI and struck out 10 while allowing just 6 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings as the Rockets (6-6, 3-1) won in the Big Northern East. Kris Ahlers (2-for-4, 3B, RBI), Kassi Gaylord (2B, 2 RBI), Gretchen Strubbe (2 RBI) and Jill Neisendorf (RBI) also contributed to the win.

Metea Valley 2, Larkin 1: Haley Bohne was 3-for-3 while Danielle Newquist and Sarah Hansen each had RBI for the Royals (1-11, 1-5) in the Upstate Eight. Hansen was the losing pitcher.

Neuqua Valley 15, Elgin 3: Destiny West went 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI and Jessica Rago was 2-for-3 with a double for Elgin (1-11, 1-5) in the UEC. Cassidy Sell had an RBI for the Maroons while Sabrina Stockman went 2-for-3. Jenna Lombardo was the losing pitcher.

St. Charles East 12, South Elgin 0: The Storm (6-7, 4-3) managed just 5 singles in losing to Upstate Eight power St. Charles East. Karli Dobler was the losing pitcher.

Bartlett 6, Streamwood 0: Danielle Kirby tossed a 1-hitter to lead the Hawks (9-4-1, 4-2) to an Upstate Eight win. Elyse Hickey and Sarah Schmitz each had doubles for Bartlett. Jessica Daley was the losing pitcher.
