ENAZ On The Park Pays Customers' Sales Tax on April 15; A 'Fashionable Gesture' From Lake County's Leading Women's Clothing, Artisan Jewelry Store

LIBERTYVILLE - While many people are stressed on tax deadline day, ENAZ On The Park, the trendy women's clothing and jewelry boutique serving all of Lake County from its downtown Libertyville store, is helping its clients keep more money in their wallets by paying their sales tax on purchases they make on April 15.

"Our clients' well-being is utmost on our minds," said Melinda Kaplan, who co-owns ENAZ On The Park at 111 W. Church Street, with her sisters, Samantha Shapiro and Lena Blitstein. "We are here to help them look and feel good. Every little bit helps when it comes to their finances."

"We have the newest, most notable clothing lines, local artisan jewelry, handbags, accessories, and custom day spa that matter to our clients at great prices," said Shapiro. "That and paying their sales tax make April 15 a great day to shop at ENAZ On The Park," she said.

"We're making a fashionable gesture," said Blitstein, who noted the store is not paying the sales tax on sidewalk sale merchandise.

ENAZ On The Park is a 2,500-square-foot store around the corner from Mickey Finn's Brewery and a hundred steps west of Milwaukee Avenue just across the street from Cook Park. Cultivating a loyal following due to its dedication to community and family, the owners of ENAZ On The Park have been satisfying the fashion needs of the casual, polished, put together, on-the-go woman, and those who want to be just that, for a little more a year.

ENAZ (the acronym for Energy, Nature, Attitude, and Zest for life) On The Park serves clients from as far away as Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles who come to ENAZ On The Park for its wide variety of offerings…from vibrant t-shirts, chunky knitwear, and dressy pieces to custom jewelry to the more than 25 scented oils for blending into silky lotions and bath gels.

The store features carefully chosen pieces on clean and organized racks and mannequins with the season's hottest looks. Its clothing lines feature Michael Stars, Sanctuary, J Brand, Genetic Jeans, Central Park West, and its own ENAZ 4 Life label. Its jewelry offerings include local designers such as Rita Ratskoff designs, Dana Rebecca Designs, Shoshanna Lee, Avaasi, Allison Fiutak, Graziela Gems, and many more.

The custom Spa Bar offers up lotions, bath gels, and perfume oils to treat the body and spirit as well as specialty baskets for special occasions and holidays.

ENAZ On The Park hosts many special trunk shows to showcase a variety of clothing and jewelry designers. On April 10, the store is hosting a She Lo Handbag Trunk Show with 10 per cent off each item; on April 18 is a Designs by Denise Jewelry Trunk Show from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Also on April 10, models will be wearing ENAZ On The Park's latest trends when they walk the catwalk at the Stevenson High School Fashion Show. From April 10 to April 17, ENAZ On The Park is offering 20 percent off for all participants and their mothers. They also are Copper level sponsors of Libertyville Days from June 18-25.

ENAZ On The Park's dedication to customer service even extends to free gift wrapping, a welcome service, especially for Mother's Day.

The ENAZ concept was created and developed by Melinda, Samantha, and Lena's mother, Susan Lurie, in 1993. Today, Kaplan is director of operations, Shapiro serves as buyer and merchandiser, and Blitstein is buyer and head of marketing who often attends Fashion Week events in New York City to keep up with the latest styles.

In addition to ENAZ On The Park there are two other thriving locations; ENAZ, 444 Central Avenue, Highland Park (in Highland Park's fashionable downtown shopping district), and ENAZ for Life, 309 Happ Rd., Northfield (next to the Happ Inn).
