'I've Got A Little Twist' coming to Prairie Center

New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players will perform "I've Got a Little Twist" at the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 10. Bring mom for a fun Mother's Day outing.

This Broadway Review will take audiences on an exciting ride through the history of Broadway starting with Gilbert and Sullivan. Get ready for "The Mikado" meets "The Music Man," the "HMS Pinafore" sets sail for "Brigadoon" and "The Pirates of Penzance" take shore "On the Town."

It's "I've Got a Little Twist" - a one-of-a-kind show that proves that the Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire is as fun, fresh, and full-of-life as, well, three little maids from school. See for yourself as the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players celebrate the legacy of Gilbert & Sullivan in American musical theater, featuring favorites from Rodgers & Hammerstein, Bernstein, Sondheim, Lerner & Loewe, Meredith Willson, and Jerry Herman. Life is a cabaret and so is this show - it's always more entertaining when you add a little twist.
