Firms hired for Mundelein High building project

The Mundelein High School board has hired a pair of companies to handle aspects of an upcoming $23.7 million construction project at the school. IHC Construction of Elgin will manage the project, while Legat Architects of Chicago will do the design work. The firms have done several projects at Mundelein High before. This one is a three-story expansion that will bring new science classrooms and other facilities to the Hawley Street campus. Groundbreaking is set for May 12. The work should be completed in August 2016.
