Take a closer look at Byrne for Arlington Hts. park board

I wanted to make you aware of another candidate for the Arlington Heights parks board, whom I believe will make an excellent board member.

Brian Byrne has lived in Arlington Heights his whole life and recently received his degree in Economics, with many courses in finance, from De Paul University. Brian has worked in the Financial Services industry for several summers and recently accepted a position as a Fixed Income Derivatives Broker with a firm at the Board of Trade. Because of Brian's education and experience, he will bring a great deal of financial expertise to the board.

Brian served as president of his fraternity, inheriting a fraternity in debt. Within a year he brought the budget under control and left the fraternity with a surplus, all while having some of the best events in the fraternity's recent history.

In his senior year at Buffalo Grove High School, Brian was chosen Most Likely To Succeed and the one most likely to become a millionaire. This shows the respect Brian's classmates had for his ability to control his spending, and his work ethic.

Brian won an award from the University of Indiana's Kelly School of Business as The Most Admired Business Person.

Brian will bring new ideas to the board that will appeal to younger people in Arlington Heights - but he also has a great respect for those of us who are a bit older. Brian is the fourth of four generations currently living in Arlington Heights so he has a great feel for what constituents of various ages would like to see in the parks. We need some youthful and fresh ideas on the park board.

My family and I will be voting for Brian Byrne on Election Day, April 7! I hope you consider doing the same.
