Cardinal George guest of honor at Palatine school's fundraiser
Retired Cardinal Francis George has agreed to be the guest of honor, health permitting, at the St. Theresa School Green and Gold Gala fundraising auction and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25.
Last year, the event raised almost $80,000 for the Palatine Catholic school. This year's theme is "A Walk Down Memory Lane ... Celebrating 60 years!" Tickets are $100.
The event at Stonegate in Hoffman Estates will include a live and silent auction, raffle prizes, dinner and live music.
