Learn about Kane Co. operational sustainability plan
On Friday, March 27, Cecilia Govrik, resource management coordinator of the Kane County Environment and Water Resources Division, will share a PowerPoint presentation implementing the Kane County Operational Sustainability Plan from 7 to 9 p.m. at Unity of Fox Valley, 230 Webster St., Batavia. Parking and entrance at the rear.
The plan will reduce the collective impact to natural resources through the smart use and management of energy and water.
A 20-minute film, "The Story of Stuff," looks at the underside of production and consumption patterns.
A question-and-answer period with Govrik will follow. No registration or admission fee is required.
