St. Edward 1, Lisle 0: Meagan Kearney scored off an assist from Chelsea Gnan eight minutes into the second half to lead the Green Wave to a win in their season opener. Paige Dykstra made 5 saves in goal for St. Edward.
CL South 3, Schaumburg 0: Jessica Schoenfeldt, Kimmy Sulikowski and Taylor Mraz scored goals for the Gators (1-1) in this nonconference win. Jenna Ross had 2 assists and Sulikowski added one. Jaclyn Przybylski had 1 save in goal for Crystal Lake South.
