Believe Project: $100 for helpful retiree with cancer who never asks for help in return

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Kathy Rohrbach of St. Charles.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"If I am chosen I would like to donate the money to a gentleman named Steve who is retired and has cancer. He is working two jobs to try to pay for his medicine and medical supplies, which are not covered by insurance. Even when he is not feeling well, he still helps the elderly out by taking them to doctor appointments and doing odd jobs for them. Steve never asks for money to do these jobs, or asks anyone for help. Therefore, I would like to be able to help him out in this little way."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
