Holy Angels school to host Hollywood-themed Seraphim Ball fundraiser

Holy Angels Catholic School will host its ninth annual Seraphim Ball on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 6 p.m. to midnight at Pipers Banquets in Aurora.

The gala will provide parents, parishioners and local community members with a fun-filled way to celebrate and support a school committed to the spiritual formation and education of children in the Fox Valley area for over 100 years.

Lights! Camera! Auction!

This year's theme will feature the glitz and glamour of Hollywood's Golden Age. Guests will enjoy a starlit evening - complete with dinner, raffles, exciting auction items, a live deejay, smartphone-enabled silent and live auctions, and a premium open bar - all while supporting Holy Angels Catholic School.

The school also will raffle off a $3,000 tuition credit for the 2015-16 school year. Raffle tickets are $25 each and will be sold through Saturday, March 21. The raffle will take place during the evening of the ball and the winner does not need to be present.

"Proceeds from the Seraphim Ball will play an integral role in the continued spiritual and educational growth of our students," said Tonya Forbes, principal at Holy Angels Catholic School. "Ongoing student parent and community support have enabled us to maintain our school's long-held reputation for academic excellence, affordable tuition rates and supplemental programs and services - including an on-site nurse and social worker, as well as a distinguished music and fine arts program."
