Believe Project: $100 for friend who lost her marriage, mother and home

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Barb Mabbs of Batavia.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"A friend and member of our church family moved with her family out of state a few years ago. Subsequently, she separated from her husband, leaving her with two children. About a week before Christmas she learned that her mother had passed away. So while making preparations for Christmas, she was also making arrangements for the funeral. On Christmas they opened presents and then jumped in her car for the eight-hour drive up here. After four days up here, they returned home only to find that their house had burned."
