Bella Pighini earned the assist, while Kara Jones made 7 saves in earning the shutout.
Mundelein 2, Rolling Meadows 1: Lelah Goldman and Shannon Carroll scored for the victorious Mustangs in their season opener.
Emily Hay and Caitlin Newell had assists for Mundelein.
Wauconda 4, Woodstock 0: Kayla Wisniewski scored twice for the host Bulldogs in their season opener.
Leah Leoni and Diana Guszik also scored for Wauconda, which got assists from keeper Ally Magiera, Erica Miller and Marissa Miller.
Magiera notched the shutout with 5 saves.
