Person stabbed in White Castle parking lot
Lake in the Hills police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning after a traffic dispute in the parking lot of a White Castle restaurant.
The victim, whom police did not identify, was in stable condition after being stabbed in the chest, according to a news release.
Police said a minor crash occurred in the restaurant parking lot along Randall Road about 4:10 a.m. Sunday. The victim was stabbed during a subsequent argument, police said.
According to police, the driver of the other car involved in crash then fled the scene but was later stopped by police and arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Police said the case remains under investigation and further charges are pending.
