Mt. Prospect library a golf course for the day

The Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation turned the town's library into an 18-hole miniature golf course Saturday as a fun, family fundraiser for the library.

The adventure had golfers of all ages putting through the stacks and reading areas and down the stairs. There was even a 19th Hole entertainment area for players to recover with refreshments, entertainment, games and a raffle.

The foundation provides funding for special programs and projects that are otherwise unattainable with tax dollars.
