Skating continues at Rosemont entertainment district
Rosemont's ice rink will remain open for free skating through the upcoming weekend, officials said.
Though the rink at MB Financial Park had been scheduled to close for the season on March 1, officials have decided to keep it open longer due to the cold temperatures. Whether the rink will remain open past March 8 is still to be determined.
The rink will be open for skating from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Skate rentals are available for $8.
