Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I believe that our level is correct based on the needs of our community. While I am always for lower taxes, I also no that we must have a certain level of income to provide the services that our residents have come to expect.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?I believe our towns police and fire coverage is more than adequate and are constantly evolving as the need arises. They are very proactive in providing our residents with top notch and state of the art service.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?We need to constantly review our budget and manpower to see where duplicate services can be eliminated and also look at joining forces with other Municipalities to see if certain tasks could be done cheaper and more efficiently if combine our resources.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Resources permitted, I would like to see us join forces with possibly the Park District to build a all purpose Arts building where plays and concerts could be performed.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?While Economic Development is always important for the financial Stability of our Village,It is very important that we look beyond the boundaries of our Village and be aware of what other governmental bodies our doing and know how their actions will effect us.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Mark KirkWhat's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?HonestyIf life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?Additional EducationWhat was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Math - Prepared me for a career in Finance AccountingIf you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Make Honesty the Foundation of Your Life.
