Two spring break touring shows added at CLC: Mark Nizer 4D and American English

Looking for some fun "staycation" entertainment during spring break?

Look no further than the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, where during the last full week of March you can enjoy two newly-added Professional Touring Season events: Mark Nizer 4D on March 25 and American English on March 28.

Mark Nizer 4D: A New Dimension in Entertainment will be held at a special 3 p.m. mid-week matinee time on Wednesday, March 25. This family-friendly show is packed with comedy and juggling antics by Mark Nizer, who has appeared on MTV, HBO's "Just for Laughs," "Arsenio Hall," "Bob Hope and Other Young Comedians," "Comic Strip Live" and on Disney cruises. Nizer's amazing skills include juggling laser beams at 1000 rpms, or throwing five ping pong balls 20 feet in the air using only his mouth. "You'll be on your feet for this amazing juggler and his hilarious one man show!" according to the Walt Disney Cruise Line. Tickets: Regular $25/22/18; Senior/Staff/Alumni $24/21/17; Teen $15; Children $7; CLC Student $8, Level II or III seating, no limit on quantity. CLC students must show CLC ID or current class schedule.

At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, American English: The Complete Beatles Tribute will take audiences back to the best of The Beatles music. Performing songs covering The Beatles' entire career from 1963-1970, and with precise attention to every musical detail, along with costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects, American English is the closest you will ever get to reliving The Beatles live. They were called "The best Beatles tribute band in the world" by Janet Davies of ABC-TV. Tickets: Regular $30/25/20; Senior/Staff/Alumni $29/24/19; CLC Student/Teen $15; Children $7.

A $2 per ticket JLC facility fee will be added at the time of purchase. Other fees may apply to Internet purchases. CLC student tickets are not available for online purchase.
