March 4: CLC Board of Trustee candidate forum

The College of Lake County Student Government Association is sponsoring a candidate forum for those running in the April 7 Board of Trustees election. The forum will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. on March 4 in Room C005, with refreshments to follow. The forum is open to the community and will provide voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and ask questions.

Three positions will be on the ballot, each with six-year terms. The candidates are Richard A. Anderson of Grayslake, Phillip DeRuntz of Grayslake, William M. Griffin of Lake Forest, Amanda Howland of Lake Zurich and Timothy S. Powell of Grayslake.

For more information about the forum, call (847) 543-2289.

The college is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, elected from among the citizens of Community College District No. 532, to ensure local accountability. For more information about the board, visit www.clcillinois.edu/aboutclc/board-of-trustees.
