Bartlett police sergeant graduates from Northwestern program

Bartlett police Sgt. William Naydenoff has graduated from a 10-week leadership program run by the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.

Many of the alums of the School of Police Staff and Command program go on to leadership positions in their departments, Bartlett police said in a news release Monday. Students are tested in employee relations, project management, budgeting and other areas.

Naydenoff joined the Bartlett force in September 2004 and was promoted to the rank of sergeant in June 2011. He is currently the sergeant of the directed patrol team. He previously has been honored as the department's police officer of the year.
