Rhonda Popko Art Exhibit
During the month of March, Rhonda Popko, co-president of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org), will be displaying works of mixed media at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Street, in the 3rd floor gallery area.
Rhonda studied printmaking, drawing and painting at the Art Institute of Chicago and Northeastern Illinois University. Along with giving seminars and art demonstrations, she has taught adults and children at the Des Plaines Park District and at the Science & Arts Academy. A recipient of the Studs Terkel Humanitarian Award from the Illinois Humanities Council in 2000, Rhonda has received many accolades for her dedication to bringing arts and cultural enrichment to her community.
