Help support "Diaper Drive" this month
Senior Care Volunteer Network, in partnership with the Diaper Bank of Northern Illinois, is hosting an adult diaper drive to help support local seniors in need.
Did you know healthy but incontinent seniors often become home bound if they cannot afford products?
One hundred dollars will provide these much needed products to a senior for an entire month!
The drive will be held Feb. 16-27. Products can be delivered to St. Paul Episcopal Church, 3706 W. St. Paul Ave. in McHenry; Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road in Woodstock; or the Senior Care Volunteer Network office, 360 Memorial Drive, Suite 140, in Crystal Lake.
Size large or extra-large pull-ups are needed the most.
Monetary donations can also be mailed or dropped off at the Senior Care Volunteer Network office but cannot be accepted at other locations.
Donations can also be made online at scvnmchenrycounty.org. Simply click on the donate now button and place "diaper drive" in the memo line. All donations of products and funds are fully tax deductible (EIN#31-1712933).
