Christmas Eve Angel Hair

½ pound angel hair pasta

8 tablespoons butter

½ cup olive oil

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 cup Caesar salad croutons, crushed

¼ cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

3 tablespoons parsley

Cook the pasta to al dente as per package directions.

Heat sauté pan over medium-high heat; add butter and olive oil to the pan. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from the heat and add pasta, tossing well to evenly coat.

Add the crushed croutons and cheese and toss again. Sprinkle the parsley over the top and serve.

Serves eight (as a side dish).
