Veterans benefits explained Saturday at Des Planies American Legion post
Des Plaines American Legion Post 36 will host a program Saturday explaining the rights and benefits to which all veterans are entitled, organizers said.
The free program begins at noon and will last about two hours. The post is located at 1291 Oakwood Ave.
Veterans do not have to belong to Post 36, the American Legion or VFW to attend the event. Those interested in attending are asked to call the post at (847) 824-3236 to RSVP.
