Troupe to bring 'African Folk Tales' to Schaumburg
Children ages four and up are invited to the "African Village Folktales" stage show from 4-4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Rasmussen Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Limited tickets for this free program will be distributed in the kidsZone at 3:40 p.m.
Hot Silk Productions from Urban Gateways will present African tales adapted for the stage. The actors will bring the rich legacy of African folklore to life in a fun and modern way. Their high-energy performance features storytelling, movement, music and comedy.
