Brainerd on school board agenda
The Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 board's facilities and finance committee will meet Monday, Feb. 9, to discuss the progress of the Brainerd Building's demolition and other issues. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the district office, 50 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. Both in Libertyville, the Brainerd Building and the adjoining Jackson Gym are being knocked down to make room for more athletic fields and parking. They've stood unused for years.
