Believe Project: $100 to help a neighbor's daughter recover from accident

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Elaine Kleinschmidt of Arlington Heights.

Here is an excerpt of her pitch:

"My pick for the Believe Project would be to give to Kelsey Ibach, a neighbor in Arlington Heights who had a terrible accident in September. We received an email in our neighborhood asking for help for her rehab bills. She went to Hersey High School and her parents live around the corner from me. She has been left with limited mobility and has a long road ahead of her. A Gofundme site has been set up to help the family with her medical expenses."

• The Believe Project will mail a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. Email us your pitch of 100 words or fewer (include your name, address and hometown) to specialevents@dailyherald.com.
