'America's Got Talent' auditions hit Chicago this weekend

Local residents are invited to sing, dance or show off other talents during a two-day open audition in Chicago for the 10th season of NBC's "America's Got Talent."

Auditions run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan 25, at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Chicago.

Cris Judd, a new talent scout for "America's Got Talent," will be on hand, looking specifically for dancing talent for the show. Judd has worked as a dancer and choreographer with music superstars including Jennifer Lopez and Michael Jackson.

Season 10 of "America's Got Talent" begins this summer on NBC. To preregister for auditions, visit agtauditions.com.
