  Wheaton resident Edward R. Kregor, a World War II veteran, is awarded the French Legion of Honor by Vincent Floreani, Consul General of France in Chicago, during a ceremony Sunday at Warrenville VFW Post 8081. Baum has been collecting monetary and food donations during the holidays for the All Peoples Interfaith Food Pantry in Elgin.
