CFC hosts program on insects and backyard diversity Jan. 10
Purdue University professor of entomology Jeffrey D. Holland will discuss how insects can be diverse even in small yards, especially with the presence of native plants and the absence of insecticides, during a program hosted Saturday, Jan. 10, by Barrington-based Citizens for Conservation.
The event, part of CFC's Habitat Corridors program, takes place at 10 a.m. at Barrington Village Hall, 200 S. Hough St. in Barrington. Visitors can begin arriving at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, conversation and handouts.
