This month, a group of us visited "Illumination", a milelong avenue of flashing and moving tree lights at the Morton Arboretum in Wheaton. The light show's colors were simply dazzling, putting us all in the Christmas spirit! Mike Weimer of St. Charles
This photo was taken in our living room through a glass of water. The the water acts like a lens and inverts & reverses the image. I rotated the picture 90 degrees so you can see the image of the Christmas tree with the presents in its normal state. I believe the fuzziness occurs do to "Spherical aberration", (increased refraction of light rays). The lights below the glass are the tree lights far behind the glass.
