Model trains captivate kids in Huntley

The Kishwaukee Valley & Eakin Creek Model Railroad Club's annual holiday train display continues through Dec. 28 at Sun City in Huntley.

Viewing times are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Prairie Lodge Social Lounge, 12880 Del Webb Blvd., and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

On Christmas Eve, the club's display will run from 10 a.m. until noon. The lodge is closed on Christmas.

The club on Tuesday will raffle three Canadian Pacific passenger train sets that include an engine, cars, track and a transformer. The winners need not be present.
