Creative gifts abound at Fine Line holiday sale

The holiday season shines at Fine Line Creative Arts Center's show and sale, set for Dec. 5-13 in St. Charles.

This annual juried event showcases 75 members' artistic talents, and offers a wide range of unique holiday gifts including pottery, paintings, textiles, glass, clothing and jewelry plus other home and personal accessories.

On opening night, from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, luminarias will light your way to Fine Line's Barn and to the Kavanagh Fine Arts Building, where you can enjoy refreshments and hot cider, and get first dibs on handcrafted artwork.

Christmastime at Fine Line is one of Fine Line's fundraisers. Proceeds from the show go toward funding its diverse artistic programs.

Fine Line Creative Arts Center is an educational art center which provides year-round classes for adults in a wide range of media including weaving, knitting, crochet, machine knitting, dyeing, jewelry, glass, blacksmithing, pottery, painting, drawing, ceramics, metal smiting, printmaking and papermaking.
