Westminster Christian wins NAC title

Westminster Christian's boys golf team won its second straight Northeastern Athletic Conference championship Saturday, shooting a 330 at Ingersoll, 22 shots better than second place IMSA.

Andrew Howard led the Warriors with a 78. He lost on the first playoff hole for the individual championship to Brad Peterson of Keith. Dillon Rejman (80, 3rd), Matt Swing (82, 4th) and Josh Zahara (90) also scored.


Harvest Christian had a 406 to finish fourth. Drew Fugiel (88, 7th) and Chad Jakel (89, 10th) earned all-conference honors for the Lions.
