'One Man, Two Guvnors' at West Chicago High School

The comedy "One Man, Two Guvnors" will take center stage later this month when WeGo Drama at Community High School continues its 2014-15 season.

The Tony-Award winning play is an update of the classic commedia dell'arte play "The Servant of Two Masters" and is set in Brighton, England, during 1963. The play fits the WeGo Drama season theme of "everything old is new again," because it takes a classic and puts a new spin on it.

The show is full of high jinx, physical comedy, mistaken identities, a live band and more.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 to 27, at Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.

The company of actors and crew for the show includes:

• Carol Stream: Serenity Brame, Kenneth Correa, Dylan Davidson, Ricky Geiser and Luke Madden;

• West Chicago: Amanda Blanco, Robert Bradley, Erik Carlson, Ethan Cuka, Jackie Fabiszak, Dylan Falletta, Mary Freiburg, Zane Hassan, Marianne Kiel, Seth Kiel, Thanh Le, Stephen Lewis, Jessie Martinez, Grace McClean, Amanda Metzger, Alora Pradel, Raven Ringe, Emily Roldan, Belen Rubio, Ben Skipor, Maxwell Smith, Zandra Starks, Andrew Steininger, Katie Steininger, Dylan Stump, Fernando Villa, and Noah Watkins; and

• Winfield: Drew Clancy, Maggie Clancy, Jack Gillespie, Jake Gillespie, Matthew Loftus, Whitney Martin, Connor Thompson, Natalie Thompson and Danny Webber.

The show is directed by Mark Begovich. Scenic design and technical direction is by Chris Jensen. The assistant director is Paul Lichy. Thomas Jones and Marty Durbin served as consultants with the actors.
