Storms packing high winds and heavy rain roll through the area

A quick-moving storm brought high winds and heavy rain into Lake County Friday afternoon.

A tree fell onto a car at the Libertyville Metra Station, trapping the driver. There is no report available on the driver's condition.

A tree was also reported down on Butterfield Road just north of Route 176 leaving heavy traffic delays. Deerpath Road near Route 41 was shut down due to water on the roadway.
